Me: “We have a free night this Saturday. What should we do?”
Significant Other: “I don’t know. What do you want to do?”
Me: “I don’t know.”
SO: “Are there any new movies out this weekend that you want to see?”
Me: “Maybe. Let me check. And maybe we could grab dinner before or after?”
And scene. Sound familiar? It also sounds boring. Spending time together doesn’t have to be that way. My SO and I started challenging each other to find fun things to do on our date nights instead of the same old, same old. We were having so much fun that I decided to start writing this blog and share our experiences with you.
The activities we are taking part in can be done by anyone, regardless of age, relationship status, or how long you have been together. My goal is to inspire you to get out and share experiences and find a way to connect on a whole new level.
You also don’t have to live in the Chicagoland area to follow me or use my date night idea. You can find almost all of these activities, or similar ones, near you with a simple internet search (i.e. find polo fields near me).
Break out of your rut and your comfort zone and have fun with your significant other!
